Gözcü is a desktop application that lets you collect publicly available price information from e-commerce platforms. This policy has been prepared in accordance with Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related legislation.

2. Data Controller
Under the KVKK, Gözcü is the data controller solely for the account information described below.
Important Note: The e-commerce data you collect through the App (prices, product information, etc.) is processed and stored entirely on your own computer. You — not Gözcü — are the data controller for that data.

6.1. Retention Period
- Account information: For as long as your account is active
- After account deletion: Permanently deleted within 30 days
- Telemetry data: Collected anonymously and cannot be linked to individual users

We apply the following measures to protect your data:
- Storing passwords with secure hashing algorithms
- Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS
- Server firewalls and access control
- Regular security updates
7. Data Transfers

- Switzerland: Authentication and database infrastructure (Supabase)
- United States: Payment processing (Polar) and the head offices of our service providers
These transfers are carried out under Article 9 of the KVKK, within the framework of standard contractual clauses that ensure data security.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad
- To request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
- To request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK
- To request that correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
- To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data solely through automated systems
- To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Gözcü is a desktop application and does not use cookies. Our website (gozcu.app) may use only the cookies strictly necessary for basic functionality.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a user under 18 has shared data, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

- Update the “Last updated” date
